The St. Eustatius Tourism Development Foundation will represent Statia’s Tourism and hospitality sector at Holland’s premier trade and consumer Holiday Fair “Vakantie Beur”s, January 9 – 13, 2013. Statia Tourism Director Charles Lindo and Public Relations Officer Teena Lopes will depart the island on January 4th.
The Holiday Fair is Netherland’s largest promotional trade and consumer exhibition. This year marks the seventh year St. Eustatius will exhibit, said Ms.
Lopes. The interest among Dutch travelers for a vacation in St. Eustatius continues to grow steadily.
Statistics proves Holland remains Statia’s leading tourism market even more so since Statia is now fully migrated into the Dutch Kingdom.
The Holiday Fair is an event related to travel and tourism, Displaying new travel packages and plans. This event will help the participating organizations to promote their brand in the market and increase awareness of their particular offering in the society, with the help of various advertisement techniques such as banners, floor stickers and many more factors.
“These types of fairs are very important to our island in the areas of marketing and promotions”, said Public Relations Officer Teena Lopes.
