Fresh off the launch of St. Lucia’s new branding announcement, Fond Doux Plantation has announced a bevy of changes it has on tap to “Lift the Senses” of its visitors.
Fond Doux was the recipient of the TripAdvisor Award of Excellence in 2012 and is aiming to build upon its success with some physical additions to its existing operation, as well as expanding its Green-themed operations and programming.
In 2013 Fond Doux will undertake a million addition to enhance its health and wellness experiences on its authentic working plantation.
The company will begin construction on five new deluxe cottages with rainforest showers and plunge pools while refurbishing its existing cottages.
A larger lobby with a new lounge area in the main building, refuribshed spa and a new gym are also in development.
Fond Doux will expand the ways its visitors can learn more about St. Lucia with green, sustainable programs – including the addition of a birding tour featuring newly discovered birds.
The estate house will also update their food services to include a fresh, organic approach, allowing visitors to enjoy true St. Lucian and Caribbean flavors. All of the new experiences are designed to lift visitors’ five senses: sight, taste, hearing, touch and smell, and truly show what sets St.
Lucia apart from other islands.
