Wild Dunes Resort, a Destination Hotel nestled on 1,600 acres of oceanfront paradise in South Carolina’s Lowcountry, has officially reopened and is welcoming guests back to its AAA Four-Diamond Rated Boardwalk Inn, Village Suites and Vacation Home & Condo Rentals. To help ensure the safety and well-being of guests, colleagues, Club Members and the Wild Dunes Resort community, the Resort is currently working through final stages of a phased re-opening plan.
As part of this phased opening process, Wild Dunes Resort has adopted the Hyatt Global Care & Cleanliness Commitment, which includes rigorous hygiene standards and GBAC STAR(TM) accreditation. These practices further enhance existing operational guidance and resources around colleague and guest safety, while providing peace of mind for a restful vacation. From contact-free check-in options and hospital-grade sanitizing practices to strict mask requirements for Resort colleagues, Wild Dunes Resort will continue to implement new practices accordingly; encourage social distancing in all areas of the Resort; and ask that visitors follow safety and health precautions from the State of South Carolina and CDC during their stay.
To welcome back visitors, Wild Dunes Resort is now offering a Summer Family getaway package, with 15 percent off stays and a $100 Resort Credit to enjoy activities or dining. For golfers looking to get some distance, the Resort’s Fazio Golf Package includes Resort accommodations; rounds on each of the Tom Fazio-designed Links and Harbor Courses; and a resort credit to enjoy post-round drinks, pro shop purchases and more.
“After months indoors, we know our guests are ready to relax, put their feet in the sand and enjoy the fresh air and sea breeze,” says Frank Fredericks, Managing Director at Wild Dunes Resort. “Wild Dunes Resort, like most, is slowly but surely moving towards our ‘new normal,’ and we are thrilled to be welcoming visitors back to Charleston’s Island Resort once again.”
Current rates for Wild Dunes Resort’s AAA Four Diamond Boardwalk Inn and Village Suites start at $159 per night. The Resort’s collection of over 240 vacation rental homes and condos, perfect for increased social distancing, are also available at a variety of rates, starting at $299 per night.
Precautionary Measures
Wild Dunes Resort has committed to following the Hyatt Global Care & Cleanliness Commitment and the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) cleanliness standards, focusing on establishing hotel environments that are sanitary, safe and healthy.
