South African Airways (SAA) will introduce the modern, state-of-the-art Airbus A330-200 aircraft on its daily flights between Washington, DC-Dulles Airport and Johannesburg, South Africa via Dakar, Senegal, effective September 1, 2014.
The newer Airbus A330-200 is an environmentally-friendly aircraft with superior economics and strong passenger appeal, which will enable SAA to continue providing a high-quality customer experience and the efficiencies to support its profitability strategies.
SAA’s Business Class on the A330-200 is configured with 36 fully lie-flat 180° beds and 186 seats in Economy Class that are ergonomically –designed with adjustable headrests for long-haul travel. Customers in both Business and Economy Class will enjoy the latest technology in on-demand audio and visual entertainment with a larger personal screen and an extensive menu of programming options.
