South African Tourism reminds the travel trade that South Africa is open to all international leisure and business travelers from all over the globe with all travelers coming into the country needing to supply a negative PCR (polymerase chain reaction) COVID test not older than 72 hours from the date of departure from their country. This test must be conducted by a certified medical practitioner and should have the name and signature of the practitioner who conducted such test. Earlier this month South African Tourism launched a partnership with Google Arts & Culture on South Africa: An Explorer’s Paradise that launched last earlier this month. This online exhibition celebrates South Africa’s diverse people, rich cultural heritage and breathtaking landscapes by allowing visitors from all over the world to explore South Africa through a collection of 500 images and videos, 55 Street Views and 20 digital stories.
Both Delta and United have announced their non-stop air service between the U.S. and South Africa will resume this summer.
