In addition to a cool scented towel, and the resort’s signature fruit punch welcome drink, guests of Seven Stars Resort & Spa are delighted with the new refillable water bottle they are receiving at check-in as part of a new series of practices that have been added to the resort’s growing list of environmentally-friendly measures.

From organized volunteer beach clean-ups by hotel staff to a sophisticated underground, water-collection and recycling system, Seven Stars Resort has been addressing the need for environmental preservation and protection of Grace Bay Beach since the resort first opened, doing its part to conserve energy and water, while reducing its carbon footprint.

Most recently, in addition to the new refillable guest water bottles, Seven Stars Resort has also introduced re-useable cups and bio-degradable straws throughout its food and beverage outlets; reef-friendly sunscreen available at the beach and at the resort’s two pools; paper to-go containers; re-useable newspaper and in-room laundry bags; refillable water bottle at turn down; and the addition of extra recycling bins throughout the property.

As part of a recent multi-million-dollar capital improvements program, resort management also installed new, more efficient air conditioning units in each guestroom. Meanwhile, guests are encouraged to support the resort’s eco-friendly efforts by re-using bath towels to minimize the amount of cleaning detergents used.

“We are fortunate to be located on one of the world’s most acclaimed beaches, and along the island’s Princess Alexandra nature preserve,” said Bryan Guillot, Director of Marketing, Seven Stars Resort & Spa and President of Thomas Lee Group. “As such, we embrace our role as stewards of our beautiful-by-nature surroundings and continue to actively look for ways to enhance and improve our green initiatives.”

Celebrating 10 years as one of Turks & Caicos’ most celebrated resorts, Seven Stars Resort & Spa, Grace Bay Beach recently invested $12 million in property-wide improvements that included a second heated, salt-water adult pool, the re-design of the resort’s 167 expansive suites and living room lobby; a new private dining room; an expansion of the resort’s acclaimed spa; and the addition of a rooftop dining space and garden, in addition to the resort’s existing organic garden and nursery. For travelers booked by August 31, 2019 the resort is currently running a 35% Off All Rooms promotion for travel August 10 – December 19, 2019.
