Peru took three awards recently at the international gala of the 25th edition of the World Travel Awards.

For the seventh consecutive year, Peru was awarded the prize for Best Culinary Destination.

In recent years, the planning and execution of the promotion of Peruvian cuisine has achieved outstanding results: nowadays, Peru has three Peruvian restaurants in the list of The 50 Best Restaurants in the World. The second trophy landed thanks to Machu Picchu, after being considered by critics, and international tourists who visit us, as the Best tourist attraction. The sanctuary includes archaeological complexes and a great variety of ecosystems, which is why it has been declared a “World Heritage Site” by UNESCO since 1983.
