The Buenaventura Golf & Beach Resort, a destination resort on Panama’s Pacific coast, unveils a new 500-square-foot high ropes course park perfect for group gatherings, entertaining families, and team building. The park, built around trees, features low and high ropes, a climbing wall, swings, balance stations, and a zip-line.

“This resort-based attraction is an exciting new offering that will give guests and groups a unique activity to foster teamwork and personal development,” said Victor Concepción, General Manager of The Buenaventura Golf & Beach Resort. “The first of its kind at a Panamanian resort, this new ropes park is both fun and challenging, which is a nice change of pace for guests of this tranquil oasis by the beach.”

Designed by Campamento La Escondida or “Hidden Camp”, the park is crafted with four Tibetan-style suspended bridges with flat, vertical and horizontal logs, a climbing wall, and a 36-foot-high zip-line. Built with eco-friendly materials, the course is seamlessly integrated into the surrounding environment of trees, which can be seen from the top. Guests can choose from one of multiple self-guided options to enjoy solo or in a group setting.

The highly trained staff at the park offers instructions and works with participants to monitor progress and set goals during each session. Activities, depending on the skills and abilities of the participant, may take approximately one to two hours to complete, and are ideal for groups of 10-50 participants, with a maximum of 15 participants per station.

The park, available throughout the year, can also be enjoyed for school sporting events, extracurricular activities for kids, summer camps, team competitions, birthdays, private events, and family celebrations. The resort offers additional team building activities for groups such as a golf clinic at the award-winning Buenaventura Golf Club, or horseback riding, boat rides, kayaking, sailing and more.
