According to the resort’s owners the mission behind the $30 million dollar transformation of the all-inclusive Grand Palladium Vallarta Resort & Spa was simple: capture the essence of authentic Mexican culture and provide guests with the ultimate Grand Palladium experience.

Completed in three phases, the entire Resort has been made over; completely altering both the appearance and feel of the property. The structure, décor, and amenities of the guestrooms, expansion of the spa facilities, and new restaurant have elevated the resort to exemplify the facilities and services expected of a Grand Palladium.

“In less than five years, we delivered and exceeded our original goal behind the transformation. We are happy to be providing our guests with the best of the best. It is what they deserve and expect from Palladium Hotels & Resorts,” said hotel General Manager, Ana Castro.

Designed with local aesthetics in mind, the guestrooms reflect the natural beauty of the region through colorful hues reminiscent of Mexico paired with the calming colors of sandy beaches. From new bathrooms to more contemporary furniture, no detail was left unnoticed. The bedding, décor and the variety of inspiring patterns of the guestrooms evoke the tropical landscape of Rivera Nayarit and offer a true taste of Mexico.

A new restaurant, “Ribs & More” joins the resort’s collection of dining choices providing guests with plenty of options to fit anyone’s epicurean needs. “El Bosque,” outfitted with new décor to complement the new resort feel, lets guests enjoy buffet style dining for breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. Ensuring that all cravings are satiated; guests can choose from Mexican, Asian, Italian, French and Mediterranean during various themed dining nights at “El Bosque.” For fine dining and poolside views, the “a la carte” Portofino Restaurant features Mediterranean cuisine along with some specially curated dishes from the world-renowned Spanish chef, Juan Mari Azark. Specialized menus including vegetarian, kids and gluten-free options are offered and available upon request.

Guests will have a reason to escape the sunshine with the newly expanded Renova Spa, featuring four massage rooms. Spa enthusiasts can relax and rejuvenate in the new sauna, steam room, and a hot and cold Jacuzzi. The extensive spa menu includes beauty, facial and body treatments, some of which incorporates ancient techniques known to increase health and wellness. A special Bridal Room has been exclusively designed for the happy couple and friends where they can enjoy their own space and a wide array of services.

While adults are getting their “R&R,” children are also reaping the benefits of the transformation with a newly expanded kids’ program. The Kid’s Club, for ages 1 to 12, has expanded with new facilities including children’s pool; a multi-use sports field; a video game room; and, for the little ones, a separate nap room. The Junior Club, available for young adults, ages 13 to 17, offers adult level videogames, sporting activities and a computer room. The space turns into a nighttime disco chaperoned by hotel staff in the evening.

The Grand Palladium Vallarta Resort & Spa is located in Punta de Mita in Riviera Nayarit, 30 minutes from Puerto Vallarta International Airport. The resort is situated on a white sand beach overlooking Banderas Bay. The 422-room property includes 356 Deluxe Rooms, 60 Junior Suites and 6 Grand Master Ocean View Rooms. Grand Palladium offers guests four a la carte restaurants, one buffet style restaurant and seven bars throughout the Resort. Guests can relax in two freshwater pools, a sea water pool, and a first-class spa and wellness center. Perfect for all ages, the Grand Palladium offers adults a Sunset Boulevard Disco and a Kids Club and Junior Club available for children 1-17 years of age.
