Japan Airlines, a oneworld alliance member, has shared details for the introduction of new A350-1000 aircraft onto its Los Angeles (LAX)- Tokyo (HND) route. The new aircraft will begin operating daily on LAXHND flights JL015/JL016 starting June 30, 2025.* (*schedule subject to change).

JAL’s A350-1000 international aircraft first entered into service on the New York(JFK) -Tokyo (Haneda) route in January 2024. The aircraft currently operate between Tokyo-Haneda and New York-JFK (twice daily), Dallas Ft. Worth-DFW (daily), London-LHR (daily on flights JL044/043) and Paris-CDG (every other day on flights JL046/JL045).
To enhance customer satisfaction and to strive towards a sustainable future, JAL is replacing its international fleet of Boeing 777-300ERs with the new A350-1000 aircraft that combine comfort with the latest environmental performance. Japan Airlines has taken delivery of nine (9) of the 13 A350-1000s on order and is committed to transitioning to the more advanced and environmentally friendly aircraft.
