One “Shop Guam Festival Ambassador” will be selected from each of Guam’s eight key tourism markets: China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Philippines, Taiwan, North America and Russia.

The shopping ambassadors will be required to document and share their Guam shopping experience via various social media platforms, engage their followers and generate online buzz about their shopping experience as well as their overall vacation experience in Guam.

The festival campaign looks to promote Guam’s tax-free shopping, diverse brand inventory to generate tourists’ awareness of U.S. retail sales during the year-end holiday season.

The campaign will run a total of 120 days, throughout the holiday sales season in Guam, until January 2013.
