GHM, the hotel management group that gave travelers The Nam Hai, The Legian Bali and The Chedi Muscat, has revealed plans for its latest luxury offering: an all-villa enclave set at Jimbaran on Bali.
The Chedi Club Jimbaran is on track to welcome its first guests in the third quarter of 2014.
GHM’s fourth property on the Island of the Gods is expected to set a new precedent for privacy in Jimbaran Bay.
Each pool villa will feature round-the-clock butler and in-room dining services, a full kitchen and a Balinese pavilion for al fresco meals and barbecues.
Encompassing 34 butler-serviced pool villas nestled within a 22,000-square-metre estate, the hotel’s spaces are the creation of Robert Nation, principal of Nation Architects, and Jaya Ibrahim, one of Indonesia’s foremost interior decorators.
The intimacy of the hotel’s villa design will be complemented by a 25-metre U-shaped swimming pool, a restaurant specializing in contemporary Asian and Indonesian cuisine, a cigar lounge and library, spa and health club.
“We are redefining the concept of a stay experience where guests have their own butlers, their own pools, and their own dining venues, in a setting that is not only private but rejuvenating,” said GHM President Hans R.
Jenni. “From a holistic standpoint, this exclusive property represents the opportunity for guests to appreciate yet another side of Bali, in a truly GHM style.”
The Chedi Club Jimbaran will be GHM’s third property to debut over the course of a half-year period, following the opening of The Chedi Sakala in November 2013 and The Chedi Andermatt on December 20, 2013.
