This September, Boca Raton Resort & Club, A Waldorf Astoria Resort in South Florida, is hosting a list of exciting programming for members and guests to enjoy this Labor Day. From bocce tournaments to live music and catamaran cruises, those looking to celebrate the end of the summer season will have many options.

LOBSTERBASH
Friday, September 1 at 7:00 p.m.
Featuring The Police Experience, an all-star tribute to the music of Sting and the Police, guests will enjoy a special concert listening to hit songs, including, “Message in a Bottle,” “Every Breath You Take,” and “Roxanne.” Additionally, the event will host an all-you-can-eat Maine Lobster and Seafood Buffet, with something for everyone, from prime rib to chicken and a deluxe open bar featuring upgraded wine and champagne. Saturday, September 2 at 4:00pm – 5:30pm (Family Tournament) and 7:00pm – 8:30pm (Adults-only Tournament)
Two friendly bocce tournaments will take place at Mizner’s Monkey Bar, the whimsical, stylish bar, located at the west end of the iconic Cloister building.
Under the Stars at Beaches Bar
Saturday, September 2 at 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Featuring Artist-in-Residence DJ Sam Pace, guests will enjoy ocean breezes, great music and the irresistible vibe laid down by DJ Sam Pace. Raise a glass to celebrate the long weekend in collaboration with Whispering Angel & Chateau d’Esclans, featuring Rock Angel Rosé. Guests can enjoy signature drink offerings and delicious a la carte bites served near the Atlantic Pool. DJ Sam Pace will keep members and gusts entertained throughout the holiday weekend with shows at the Poolside at the Beach Club and at Bar Luna. Adults only.
Surf Expo at Shaka Bar & Grill and the FlowRider
Saturday, September 2 at 3:00 p.m.
The Surf Expo invites amateur and semi-pro competitors, with rider’s choice of surf or body board, to compete at the dual-sided FlowRider® wave simulator. Members and guests are invited to watch, or compete for grand prizes.
Reggae FunDAY at Shaka Bar & Grill
Sunday, September 3 at 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Shaka Bar & Grill will host a day of fun with live music from Reggae Souljahs, the South Florida band that blends traditional reggae music with top 40 hits. In between surfing the waves on the resort’s FlowRider, members and guests can participate in outdoor games on the FlowHouse lawn and enjoy the self-serve snow cone station.
Teens-Only Dive-In Movie
Saturday, September 2 at 7:00 p.m.
The Tower Pool hosts a night of fun with a feature movie starting after sunset. Teens can enjoy a bite to eat at Serendipity or 501 East before settling into their seats – or inner tube – and enjoying the entertainment.
Labor Day Mixed Doubles Round Robin
Monday, September 4 at 9:30 a.m.
Enjoy a morning of tennis at Boca Raton Resort & Club, ranked one of the top tennis programs in the country by Tennis Magazine. The resort and club boasts 30 tennis courts (12 lighted), a full program of clinics, lessons and professional services and the Jimmy Connors Experience.
