Explorer Ventures Liveaboard Fleet began operations in June 1987 with the introduction of the original Caribbean Explorer in the Northeastern Caribbean. Twenty-five years later, several vessels and many dive itineraries have come and gone, but EV has remained true to its roots and continues to offer outstanding dive experiences at an exceptional value. The company now offers six liveaboard destinations across the world, including its original itinerary diving Saba, St. Kitts and St. Maarten in the Northeastern Caribbean, plus the Turks & Caicos Islands, Southern Bahamas, Galapagos Islands, Maldives and the Dominican Republic.
To celebrate its anniversary, Explorer Ventures is offering several specials on its first and still-running Northeastern Caribbean itinerary as well as a grand prize – an all-expense paid trip for 2 aboard the Caribbean Explorer II. Although Caribbean Explorer has since been retired, Caribbean Explorer II continues the north- and southbound trips between St. Maarten, Saba and St. Kitts 25 years later.
For departures between August 25 and September 29, 2012, Explorer Ventures has a two for $2,500 special (a savings of $645 per person) to Saba, St. Kitts and St. Maarten. Two people can board the boat for $2,500, or one can enjoy 2 back-to-back weeks for $2,500. Beginners and experienced divers alike have been enjoying this itinerary for a quarter of a century, which in addition to offering up to 5 dives per day, also has available islands tours to experience the history and culture of these unique destinations. In order to enter to win the all-expense-paid trip for two to the Northeastern Caribbean, “Like” the Explorer Ventures Facebook
page and you’ll be entered in the drawing to take place on January 2, 2013.
Although EV is using its anniversary to celebrate its 25-year-old itinerary, the fleet also offers 2 different week-long itineraries in the Turks & Caicos Islands and another three specialty itineraries in the Southern Bahamas, all aboard the Turks & Caicos Explorer II. The large, luxurious Carpe Vita Explorer in the Maldives, a brand- new vessel which began operation in February 2011, runs itineraries from 7 to11 nights throughout the Maldives, with the destinations varying seasonally to track the mantas, whale sharks and more. And for even more high-voltage, big animal action, the Humboldt Explorer in the Galapagos Islands of Ecuador offers 4 days diving the
remote northern islands of Darwin and Wolf during the course of her 7 night/8 day trips.
