The Riviera Maya is a tourist area of Mexico located along the Caribbean Sea in the State of Quintana Roo. Geographically it extends along the coast from the town of Puerto Morelos in the north to the town of Punta Allen south, about 130 km in length.

The terrain along the coast is flat (except the archaeological site of Tulum) and covered. The coastline offers beautiful sandy beaches crossed by coral rocks. The Caribbean Sea water is clear and turquoise and can see fish of all colors. The region is geologically formed by a large limestone plateau. This rock has the particularity of being permeable, numerous networks of caves and underground galleries were created with the passage of time. Because the water table was quite high, the caves were filled with water to form what is called in Mexico “cenotes”. Some are accessible to the public for swimming, snorkeling or diving.

In the Riviera Maya there are about 51 international-class hotels, 5 stars and other categories, offering at least 18 040 rooms. 11 of them provide quality service “Palace”. Most are complex all inclusive, which means that the price of your stay at the hotel includes all meals and beverage consumption, and access to hotel activities (Jacuzzi, water aerobics, aerobics, gym, tennis, volleyball, billiards, disco …)

Chichen Itza Express, which is designed for guests who need to return soon to their hotels to attend an event or will not do a full day excursion. Chichen Itza, founded in 514 BC, was one of the capitals of the great Mayan civilization. Direct transport to the archaeological site of Chichen Itza today named one of the “New 7 Wonders of the Modern World” in a two-hour guided tour.

Xcarte offers an Eco-Archaeological park called Xcaret, a magical place known as the sacred paradise of Mexico, where you experience the beauty of the Caribbean Sea and richness of Mexican culture. This place Xcaret is knowing as a sacred place that touches the soul of thousands of people who visit it every day. In 1984, the architect Miguel Quintana Pali acquired five acres in the Riviera Maya to build his residence. However, at the time of clearing the land, he discovered beautiful cenotes and underground rivers, so, he decided to create a park for everyone to have access to the natural beauty of the region.

The archaeological site of Tulum was built on top of a cliff at the edge of the Caribbean Sea, this area flourished at the end of the post-classical and contains buildings from the XII century. It was one of the most important trading ports of the time and one of the few Mayan cities still inhabited when the Spanish arrived. We can enjoy the Mayan history of Tulum, as well as its buildings such as the Castle, the Temple of the masks and the god Chac, also can visit the natural park called “Xel Ha”, so named because of the union of the sweet waters of the underground rivers and salty Caribbean. Within the water park, you enjoy the all inclusive package.
