The award-winning Emerson Resort & Spa introduces new wellness treatments and experiences in 2021 with its partnership with Comfort Zone, focusing on spa therapies inspired by the earth’s elements, nature’s restorative qualities and the tranquility of the Catskill Mountains.
“We’re thrilled to expand our wellness experience to our guests, focusing on immune-boosting treatments and the body and mind connection to nature which is proven to have healing effects and has always been top of mind for the Emerson Spa. Throughout COVID-19, it became apparent that we needed to expand our existing experiences that already focused on strengthening the immune system, nature and the outdoors, and restorative healing. We’re excited to integrate even more of health and wellness into our plan and continue to safely welcome back our guests,” said Christina Burns, Emerson Spa Director.
New and highlighted Emerson Spa treatments include:
· Sacred Nature Mask Repair Solution (NEW) – Designed to battle damaging effects caused by long-term mask use, the Emerson Spa’s organic Mask Repair Solution uses Sacred Nature products by Comfort Zone to reduce dryness, redness and skin irritations that occur due to daily use of face coverings. A cleansing balm and exfoliating mask are applied, followed by a youth serum and hydra cream to reinforce the skin barrier and enhance skin resilience and vitality. Available at $175 for 60 minutes.
· Après Ski Body Wrap (NEW) – Located near Hunter Mountain and Belleayre, the Emerson Spa is now offering this après ski body wrap that relieves muscle aches, inflammation, and joint pain with a warm and cold remedy. The treatment begins with a therapeutic body wrap using mineralized mud from the grottos of Italy, followed by a cryo leg gel application. The combination of warm and cold results in instant relief and provides a lasting feeling of freshness and invigoration. Available at $185 for 75 minutes.
· Emerson Reset Body Treatment – Using Comfort Zone’s ProSleepTM rituals, acting on three different sensorial pathways for profound relaxation, the Emerson Reset is a guest favorite that helps to relieve stress and uses Ayurvedic and Indonesian Sea Malay modalities, combined with the use of soft brushes and music to reset your circadian rhythm to help achieve a quiet, peaceful body and mind. This is the ultimate tranquility experience. Starts at $165 for 60 minutes and is also available as a couples treatment.
· Emerson Spa’s Enhancements (NEW) – Mini experiences can now be added to existing nail treatments or esthetics including Peel Off Masks, Sublime Eye Patch, Oxygen Infusion, Ultrasonic Peel, Eco Fin Hand Mitts, glass of Prosecco or red or white wine and more. The Cryo Leg Gel Application is the newest esthetic enhancement and is ideal to give relief for swollen or heavy legs. Formulated with Hesperidin, Aescin and Menthol for an immediate sensation of freshness, the application is available for $25.
In addition, the Emerson Spa will launch their Emerson Spa Shop, offering guests an opportunity to purchase best-selling Comfort Zone skincare products used in on-site treatments starting April 2021.
