Thirty-three agents who focus their businesses on romance travel will serve the Destination Wedding & Honeymoon Specialists Association (DWHSA) as members of the group’s inaugural Advisory Board and Marketing Committee.
The DWHSA Advisory Board will help set priorities for the new trade group for agents and provide guidance for its first-year programs, while the DWHSA Marketing Committee will focus on developing new tools and avenues for the association’s member agents to grow their future sales and client bases.
“DWHSA is managed by agents, for agents, so we’re very happy to have such a strong group of volunteer leaders to get things rolling this first year,” says Lisa Sheldon (I Do Island Weddings – Wisconsin), DWHSA’s executive director. “Agents who specialize in romance travel stay very busy all year round, so we’re grateful for the time and energy these members will devote to helping us now through next summer.”
