Barceló Bávaro Beach Resort has announced a variety of themed weeks and events that will be celebrated at the resort throughout the year. From “Gastronomic Week” to World Environement Day, there are activities available for every guest to enjoy and enhance their stay. Each event is open to guests of the resort at no additional cost.
The first week in May is “Yoga Week,” designed to raise awareness about the benefits of yoga and meditation and to encourage greater physical health and well-being. Guests will have the opportunity to try different yoga classes throughout the week. “Zumba Week” will occur the second week in June, where certified instructors teach Zumba classes twice daily. Following each class, participants can indulge in a variety of exotic fruits and healthy snacks. The third week in August is “Latin Week,” filled with fun demonstration shows, dance classes and contests. “Gastronomic Week,” the second week in September, will celebrate all things culinary. The last themed week of the year, “Singles Week,” occurs the third week in October. This event allows singles to participate in a variety of activities and share in a fun environment with other singles from around the world.
In addition to themed weeks, Barceló Bávaro Beach Resort celebrates Dominican and American holidays and special occasions. World Environment Day will be celebrated on June 5 with environmental activities such as tree planting. The Fourth of July will be celebrated with a day full of traditional American foods, music, activities and contests. Other holidays celebrated at the resort include Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
