Delta Air Lines will launch new daily nonstop service from Salt Lake City International Airport to Benito Juarez International Airport in Mexico City, starting on December 20, 2014. The new route highlights the airline’s in Mexico by offering more options to connect notable business markets in Mexico with its international hubs in the United States.

“Mexico City is a global city, and one of the most important financial and cultural centers for Latin America,” said Carlos E. Hernandez, Delta’s director for Mexico.

Through its alliance with Aeromexico, Delta has scheduled its SLC-MEX service to connect with onward flights from Aeromexico’s hub in Mexico City. Delta and Aeromexico will offer round trip connections between Salt Lake City and Acapulco, Aguascalientes, Leon, Campeche, Cancun, Durango, Guadalajara, Morelia, Monterrey, Oaxaca, Puerto Vallarta, Torreon, Veracruz, and Zacatecas.
