Smith Fork Ranch,  an intimate luxury resort nestled in a mountain valley in the Colorado Rockies midway between Aspen and Telluride,  is inviting guests to experience a special five-course winemaker’s dinner on Friday, June 28, hosted by Duncan Arnot Meyers. Meyers, recently named the San Francisco Chronicle’s Winemaker of the Year, is the co-founder of award-winning Arnot-Roberts Winery in Healdsburg, California.

The evening will feature some of the world’s most sought after wines – Arnot-Roberts rarely produces more than a few hundred cases of each wine they craft – paired with the gourmet, authentic, farm-to-table cuisine of Executive Chef Seth Bateman (Smith Fork Ranch’s own wine cellar received a 2012 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence).

The wine dinner is included as part of any stay at the boutique, 265-acre, 26-guest-maximum Smith Fork Ranch that includes an overnight on Friday, June 28.

Guests will enjoy the handsomely appointed historic accommodations of the ranch that feature special touches such as feather beds, luxurious linens, iPod docking stations, and complimentary Wi-Fi, as well as a wide variety of outdoor adventure and amenities, including: guided horseback riding, mountain biking, sporting clays, fly-fishing, archery, tailored children’s programs, and a new luxury spa.

Smith Fork Ranch requires a three-night minimum (starting at $2,730 based on double occupancy).
