Collette Vacations has released its 15 new tour itineraries for the 2012 – 2013 season showcased in the latest edition of the company’s comprehensive Worldwide Travel brochure. In addition, Collette is offering Early Booking Savings of up to $500 per couple on new 2012 tours.
The Worldwide Travel brochure or “big book” highlights more than 100 escorted tours through Australia, Asia, Europe, South and Central America, Antarctica, the U.S. and Canada, including holiday tours; its Explorations small group tours; and new Collette Family Vacations in one, easy-to-use reference brochure. A desk copy of this complete brochure has been mailed to select travel agents. Separate regional brochures will also be available throughout the year.
Of the 15 new highly-inclusive tours for 2012 featured in the brochure, nine are Europe tours including two that feature Floriade, the World Horticultural Expo held only once every ten years in the Netherlands. The 11-day Netherlands, Belgium & Paris tour and the 11-day Dutch & Belgian Delights both feature Floriade and a visit to historic Bruges, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Also highlighted are two new tours to Portugal and two to Ireland; as well as a 10-day England’s Treasures tour featuring the Cotswolds and Lake District regions; a 10-day Alpine Lakes and Scenic Trains; and a 10-day Treasures of Tuscany & Provence tour, also featuring Monaco.
The Best of Portugal includes the beautiful island of St.Michael, Azores, located in the heart of the Atlantic, as well as the island of Madeira. The debut of the 12-day Explorations small group tour, Discover Portugal’s Treasures, will introduce Collette passengers to ten overnight stays in Pousadas, an exclusive, luxury lodging experience in restored historic buildings throughout Portugal.
For the Emerald Isle, Collette introduces a 9-day Ireland’s Coastal Treasures, featuring Galway, Connemarra, and other unique overnights and attractions that make it ideal for passengers who have already traveled to Ireland and are looking to return. For travelers with a bit more time, the 12-day Exploring Scotland & Ireland itinerary featuring Northern Ireland travels the Antrim Coastal Route and includes a guided visit to Glenveagh Castle.
