Christopher N. Pollock, a 35-year veteran of the hospitality industry, has been named general manager of Pink Sands Resort, located on Harbour Island in the Out Islands of the Bahamas.
The beachfront property is undergoing a renovation of its cottages with estate homes planned in the coming months. Pollock will oversee all day-to-day operations of the 20-acre property, which consists of 25 cottages and two estate homes, its culinary offerings and service as well as the extensive re-development project.

Pollock joins Pink Sands Resort after overseeing two notable properties in the Out Islands, Bimini Big Game Club and Bluff House Beach Resort and Marina. He served as president of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce as well as the same position at the Greater Fort Lauderdale Lodging and Hospitality Association.
Pollock has also held hotel management positions in hotels across Florida, Georgia, Dominican Republic, St. Thomas and Washington, D.C. A dual citizen of both the United States and Great Britain, Christopher grew up in Nassau went to school at Queens College and has lived in the Bahamas for over 15 years.
