TripAdvisor just released its 2015 Travelers’ Choice Hotel Awards for the new year and Belize is up there once again with the best in the world. Travelers from around the globe have spoken and Belize is trending amongst the best in the industry.

* San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, remains strong on the list of the Top 10 Hotels in Belize with Victoria House topping the list and the #1 Island in the World holding strong to seven spots on the list.

* Five Belize hotels were listed amongst the 25 Top Hotels in Central America (four of which were from Ambergris Caye).

* The Phoenix Resort in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye placed #1 on the Top 25 Luxury Hotels in Central America and #2 in the same category of World Hotels.

* Both Hamanasi Adventure and Dive Resort from Placencia and The Phoenix Resort in Ambergris Caye placed high on the lists of Top 25 Small Hotels in all three list of the World, Central America and Belize.

* Small Hotel Coco Plum Island Resort in Dangriga, Stann Creek District, topped the Top 10 Hotels for Romance in Belize and ranked #5 in the Top 25 in Central America in the same category.

* Hamanasi Adventure and Dive Resort of Hopkins, Stann Creek killed the competition on the Top Hotels for Service in the World, Central America and Belize lists.

“We’re very pleased with the results of the 2015 Traveler’s Choice Awards,” said Karen Pike, Acting Director of Marketing and Public Relations of the Belize Tourism Board. “We know how hard the hoteliers work to maintain and improve their standards and it doesn’t go unnoticed. When visitors come to Belize, they get an experience like no other and a lot of that is because of the hotels, resorts, B&Bs and Inns where they are staying.”

One thing that’s for sure is that Belize is a favorite vacation spot for travelers around the world. TripAdvisor even created Top 10 Lists in various categories within Belize this year. Last year Belize Hotels were just ranked amongst hotels in Central America and the World.
