The Association for Promotion of Tourism to Africa, APTA is introducing an incentive for new individual members to join and for existing members to renew their membership for 2013, no later than January 13, 2013. At that time, all members in good standing will be entered into a drawing, and one new member and one renewing member will get to attend INDABA 2013, in Durban South Africa, courtesy of APTA.

INDABA is a three day trade event that attracts well over 13,000 delegates from the travel tourism and related industries held annually in Durban, South Africa. It is  one of the largest tourism marketing events on the African calendar and showcases the widest variety of Southern Africa’s best tourism products, and attracts international visitors and media from across the world.

The prize for each includes return flights from New York or Washington DC to Durban, as well as accommodation for the nights of May 10, 11 &12. Individual members are travel agents and tour operators in the USA who already sell-, or are interested in selling Africa as a tourist destination. Winners will be announced at the Focus on Africa Trade Seminar at the New York Times Travel Show on January 18. Winners need not be present.
