Malta’s Consul General in Michigan has teamed up with Air Malta and the Malta Tourism Authority for a Fam Trip for travel professionals to visit Malta October 22-28, 2012. The rate is $540 per person all inclusive of entrance tickets and sightseeing, transfers, hotel accommodations in 4 and 5 star hotels, most meals, and airfare on Air Malta from one of their European gateway’s including London Heathrow or Gatwick, Amsterdam, Rome, or Frankfurt. The tentative itinerary is:

Day 1 –
Arrival at Malta Airport and transfer to hotel – Radisson Blu Resort St Julian’s
Check in and Rest of the day will be at leisure to recover and regenerate

Day 2
Breakfast at leisure
09:00hrs departure from Base hotel to visit alternative 2 hotels followed by lunch sponsored by the hotel.
After lunch we will visit Valletta for a half day guided tour of the city visiting various cultural sites.
Return to Hotel at 17:00hrs
19:00hrs – Depart hotel to hotel number 3 for dinner hosted by hotel
23:00hrs – Return back to hotel and overnight – Radisson Blu Resort St Julian’s

Day 3
Breakfast at leisure and check out
All delegates will need to check out of the hotel and load baggage on coach
Visit to Hotels number 4 and 5 in the morning followed by lunch at hotel number 5
Afternoon tour of the city of Mdina
17:00hrs Transfer to Second base hotel and Check in – Corinthia San Gorg Hotel
19:00hrs – Meet in lobby of hotel for showround followed by dinner

Day 4
Breakfast at leisure
09:00hrs departure from Base hotel to visit hotels 6 & 7 followed by lunch sponsored by the hotel.
After lunch we will visit The Three Cities for a half day guided tour of the city visiting various cultural sites.
Return to Hotel at 17:00hrs – Corinthia San Gorg Hotel
19:00hrs – Depart hotel to hotel number 8 for dinner hosted by hotel
23:00hrs – Return back to hotel and overnight – Via St Julians’ to visit a few of the night clubs (this will be entirely optional and no drinks are included for this)

Day 5
Breakfast at leisure and check out
All delegates will need to check out of the hotel and load baggage on coach
Visit to Hotels number 9 and 10 in the morning followed by lunch at hotel number 10
Afternoon visit to Prehistoric Temples and Village of Marsaxlokk
17:00hrs Transfer to Third base hotel and Check in – Le Meridien St. Julian’s
19:00hrs – Meet in lobby of hotel for showround followed by dinner

Day 6
Breakfast at leisure
08:30 – Pick up from Le Meridien and Full day tour of Gozo including Visit to Kempinksi Hotel and Ta Cenc Hotel in Gozo
17:00hrs – Return to Le Meridien Hotel
Evening at leisure

Day 7
Breakfast at leisure and Departure to Malta Airport.
