Latin Trails recently announced the introduction of the Pacaya Samiria wildlife cruise. Tour operators and travel agents can send their clients on a 4 or 5 day cruise on board the expedition company’s newest riverboat, the 8-passenger M/V Cattleya.

This exclusive riverboat has completed its navigation trials and offered it’s maiden voyage under the Latin Trails flag on January 26, 2015.

This intimate Amazon river adventure begins and ends in the Peruvian Amazon city of Iquitos, exploring in depth the Pacaya Samiria wildlife reserve, known as one of the largest protected areas in all of the Amazon river basin. Highlights of this amazing journey include:

Visiting the birth of the mighty Amazon, the meeting of the waters occurs at the concurrence of the Marañon and Ucayali rivers.
Sightings of river dolphins, caiman’s, birdlife, monkeys and even jaguars are a possibility

In order to facilitate bookings for the travel industry Latin Trails has partnered with the receptive tour operator community in Peru, agents have the choice of booking direct with Latin Trails or they can go through their current DMC partner in Peru.
