September 14 – Travelers will be met at the airport and transferred to their hotel, the 4-star Golden Tulip Vivaldi. The hotel is in St Julians center, 100 yards from the beaches. It offers panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea and a rooftop pool with lounge chairs. Hotel Vivaldi’s rooms are all air conditioned and feature a balcony, minibar and satellite TV. Most of them have sea views. The hotel is in the Paceville district, the main entertainment area of Malta and 330 yards from the Dragonara Casino. Stay for 3 nights with breakfast daily.

September 15 – A guided tour will take travelers through the busting streets of Valletta to view the Barracca Gardens that command a breathtaking panorama of the Grand Harbor before going to St. John’s Co-Cathedral, adorned in riches that date back to the times of the Knights of Malta. Afterwards, visit the Grand Master’s Palace and other buildings of historical importance before stopping at the Malta Experience, a multi-vision show that depicts Malta’s history throughout the ages.

September 16 – The day’s excursion heads to the central part of Malta that is dominated by the ancient citadel of Medina, once the Island`s capital city and steeped in history. Travelers will navigate the narrow streets and mysterious alleyways of Mdina that lead to the awe-inspiring bastions from which they can take in an almost 360 degree panoramic view of the island.

The tour leaves Mdina through the Greek Gate and proceeds to the catacombs followed by a drive to the southwest of the island to Dingli cliffs which offer breathtaking views of the open sea. After lunch, it is off to the botanic gardens of San Anton, home to some of the island`s rarest plants and trees. Next up is Mosta and its impressive dome, one of the largest standing unsupported domes in Europe. The last stop will be to the crafts center at Ta` Qali where visitors can see glass blowing, pottery and filigree first hand.

September 17 – One of the first stops on this full day tour is Senglea to visit the church of Our Lady of Victory famed for it’s miraculous healings, and then it is off to drive through Cospicua which is the town where workers from the dockyard sector work – one of Malta’s main industries. The City of the Knights is Vittoriosa where the defining moments in the history of Malta are celebrated in the Freedom and Victory monuments.

After the tour, travelers will be transferred to the port for the ferry to Gozo. Upon arrival to Gozo, it is a brief transfer to the 4-star Calypso Hotel. Stay for 3 nights with breakfast daily.

September 18 – Gozo has a character entirely of its own – it boasts of more greenery than Malta with its hilly landscape and picturesque countryside, making it an island full of charm waiting to be discovered. In this excursion travelers will visit all the popular landmarks of Gozo such as the Citadel in Victoria, the famous Azur Window in Dwejra and the rocky cliffs in Xlendi Bay. There is a spectacular cultural experience with a visit to Ggantijja Temples which are known to be the oldest freestanding temples in the world. Since Gozo is well known for its wool goods and handmade lace, honey and cheese the tour will also visit the market to sample all of these first hand.

September 20 – Transferred to the port for the ferry to Malta. Upon arrival to the port, transferred to the Golden Tulip Vivaldi Hotel. Stay for 1 night with breakfast.
