The Association for the Promotion of Tourism to Africa (APTA) has announced this year’s Forum will be held at the Carleton Oak Park Hotel outside Chicago in Oak Park, IL September 19 – 20.
Traditionally hosted by a different chapter each year, the event is APTA’s largest annual meeting of members: agents, operators, tourist boards, airlines, hotels, lodges, camps and service providers from all corners of the African tourism industry.
The association promotes tourism to Africa by creating networking and marketing opportunities for buyers and sellers in the African travel and hospitality industry to meet, mingle, learn from each other and foster the business relationships that ultimately empower the travel agent and enhance the client experience.
Individual members are travel agents and tour operators in the USA who already sell Africa, or are interested in selling Africa as a tourist destination.
