The Destination Wedding & Honeymoon Specialists Association (DWHSA) expanded its Romance Travel Boot Camps schedule this year, adding three new cities and dates: Las Vegas (July 28-29), Philadelphia (Sept. 16), and Baltimore (Sept. 18). These full-day workshops give travel agents a complete introduction to selling destination weddings, honeymoons, and other types of romantic getaways – from finding the ideal clients and handling consultations and proposals to working with romance travel suppliers and dealing with “bridezillas.” The Las Vegas boot camp will include a second day with hotel wedding department and wedding chapel inspections organized by the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority. DWHSA is currently organizing additional boot camp dates for Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Nashville, and Cincinnati.
