The Iconic Santorini will have its grand opening in April 2014. Even on an island studded with fine inns, the unique property promises to take Greek style and hospitality to new heights.

Located on the rim of a volcanic caldera, the 22-room Iconic Santorini puts guests front and center in one of the most dramatic settings in the Mediterranean.  The retreat is recreated from actual homes and shops in the whitewashed village of Imervogli, the highest settlement on the caldera — all the Iconic’s lodgings follow Santorini’s unique style of high-ceilinged caverns notched into the cliff.  White arches and traditional fabrics blend with luxury amenities like flat-screen televisions, JBL sound systems, i-Pod docks and over-sized CocoMat all-natural bedding.

“We scheduled the Grand Opening for April to allow time for the addition of stunning private veranda pools for the Iconic Santorini’s three most luxurious showcase suites,” said Jim St. John, Vice President of Hospitality America.

The Iconic Santorini sports a cliff-top infinity pool and taverna, and a gym and spa that make it the perfect setting for romantic getaways, honeymoons or relaxing, rejuvenating escapes. Rates at Iconic Santorini start at $649 a night for two, including breakfast and poolside snacks, all hotel taxes and high-speed Internet access.
