The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) has announced that it will offer a special reward points program for travel agents. The extension to the “Cash in on Vegas” booking incentive will allow retail travel agents to have the opportunity to accrue points for every room night booked in Las Vegas.
“We are delighted to announce that we will be adding a rewards program to the ‘Cash in on Vegas’ promotion,” said Art Jimenez, senior director of leisure sales.
“It is a terrific opportunity to allow travel agents to reward themselves with their favorite merchandise and Las Vegas activities.
”
From July 1, 2013 to July 31, 2014, travel agents may submit eligible bookings online at www.trackmylasvegasbookings.com. To be eligible, bookings must include hotel accommodations bundled with air or land only in Clark County, Nevada and complete travel between July 1, 2013 and August 31, 2014.
For each valid room night booked in Las Vegas, each retail travel agent will accrue 100 points in his/her program account. The points accrued in the agent’s program account may be redeemed for hotel accommodations, show tickets or activities provided by select merchants.
The “Cash in on Vegas” booking incentive will still offer top-selling travel agents the chance to qualify to win their share of $60,000. Prizes will be rewarded monthly by random drawing. Cash cards will be provided in the amounts of $1,000 for the winner, $750 for second, $500 for third, $150 for fourth and 25 $100 randomly drawn winners.
Participation in the Rewards program is open to all U.S. and Canada travel agencies and agents operating under a current and legitimate ARC, IATA, CLIA, or TRUE number.
