Quail Lodge Resort & Golf Club in Carmel Valley, California has announced the appointment of Max Schroeder as Director of Sales and Marketing. Schroeder will play a key role in re-launching the 93-room resort, which will reopen on March 26, 2013, following a $28-million-dollar top-to-bottom rejuvenation.

“Max’s extensive background working with prestigious hotel companies makes him the ideal candidate to support our re-opening,” said Sarah Cruse, general manager of Quail Lodge & Golf Club. “We look forward to exceeding our goals with him on board and unveiling the results of our amazing renovation.”

Most recently, Schroeder served as Director of Corporate Sales at The Peninsula Chicago. Prior to that, he held the same position and played a vital role in the opening of the Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago. He also served as Regional Director of Sales for Jumierah Hotels & Resorts in Chicago.

Schroeder attended Iowa State University and The Uniglobe Travel Academy.
