For the first time in over five years, Tourism Australia and Air New Zealand have partnered on a major vacations campaign, promoting unique Downunder experiences to North American travelers.
Tourism Australia, with South Australian Tourism Commission, Tourism Queensland and Tourism Tropical North Queensland have partnered with Air New Zealand, to offer U.S. travelers specially-priced packages to spectacular Australian destinations in South Australia and Queensland including iconic Kangaroo Island — known as the “Galapagos of Australia” and the famed Barossa wine region in South Australia, and Queensland’s World Heritage-listed Daintree Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef. The vacation packages, which can be purchased through June 17, 2012, will be fulfilled by Down Under Answers’ subsidiary, Air New Zealand Vacations.
“We are very excited to offer these one-of-a-kind Australian adventures with Air New Zealand Vacations.
Australia is a destination for people who want to feel connected with the culture and nature around them, and these itineraries promise to invigorate and recharge anyone lucky enough to experience them,” said Daryl Hudson, Vice President, the Americas from Tourism Australia.
