With a highly successful Christmas capping off a record 2011, the Grand Case Beach Club is on track for what appears to be a record-setting winter season, according to Ron Muzii, president of Muzii & Associates, Inc., the resort’s marketing company.

“Occupancy averaged nearly 80 per cent for the year, which was among the best in the entire Caribbean,” he said. Muzii attributed the results to excellent service and hospitality, as well as strong support from Apple Vacations, Expedia, Orbitz, Caribbean Travel & Life Magazine; and TripAdvisors, all of which presented the resort with awards.

In addition, the resort completed the last phase of its two-year long $2 million upgrading and renovation program. That included new fabrics in all rooms, patio tiles, handrails and outdoor furniture. The Grand Case Beach Club has a variety of amenities for its guests. These include two beaches, swimming pool, water sports and fitness centers, tennis court and the Boardwalk, which wraps around the hill overlooking the ocean and connects to the Sunset Cafe, open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and Happy Hour seven days a week. Every room has a full kitchen and flat screen satellite TV. Continental breakfast is included in the room rates.
