The Sands at Grace Bay is offering a fourth night free deal that is valid for travel over the Fourth of July holiday weekend, which also coincides with Turks & Caicos’ annual “Race For The Conch” open-water swim race scheduled for July 5, 2014.
The Turks & Caicos resort tempts both summer travelers and swim race participants with its reduced low-season rates and its world-famous Grace Bay Beach location. The resort is encouraging travelers to participate in the child and adult “Race For The Conch” swimming competitions, by providing free transfers to/from these family-friendly race events that occur during Independence Day weekend.
In addition to receiving a 4th Night Free, The Sands at Grace Bay offers freebies for guests to enjoy during their summer stay, which include complimentary use of watersports equipment – including kayaks, windsurfing equipment, stand-up paddle boards, snorkel gear and Hobie Cats; bicycles for island exploration; a Tuesday Manager’s cocktail party; three free-form swimming pools; and a tennis/basketball court.
The “Race for the Conch” is an annual open-water charity swim race held in Providenciales that is open to all competitive and recreational swimmers. With world-class swimmers in attendance, race funds support local reef protection and children’s charities. The three main events consist of a half-mile, 1-mile and 2.4-mile race along Grace Bay Beach. There is also a 100 meter children’s “Race for the Conch” for swimmers twelve years and younger, which is free of charge and parents can sign up for on the day of the race. This year, there is a new half-mile “Paddle for the Conch” stand-up paddleboard race immediately following the swim race events.
The Sands at Grace Bay’s 4th night free promotion is valid for new bookings made on all room categories at The Sands at Grace Bay, for consecutive stays of four nights or more started and completed through December 20, 2014.
