The Viaventure Group is inviting tour operators and wholesalers to join them in Guatemala & Belize “to celebrate 2012 and the “End of the Mayan Calendar” and experience these amazing destinations for yourselves”.
They are offering 2 collective FAM trips for clients looking for unique, comfortable and affordable “mid range” experiences. There will be one departure in English and another in Spanish. Each FAM trip is a total of 16 days but you may chose to attend just the Guatemala portion (10 days) or just the Belize portion (8 days). The English speaking trip begins October 20th.
English Guatemala Portion: October 20th to 29th
English Belize Portion: October 28th to November 4th
Each FAM will be a mix of Mayan culture, jungle adventure (soft), beach exploration and a good dose of hotel visits.

Day 4: Iximche Site & Shaman Ritual & Transfer to Lake Atitlan (2 nights -Posada Santiago*)
Day 5: Santiago Village Tour & Hotel Visits
Day 6: Chichicastenango Market & Transfer to Antigua (1 night – Los Bucaros*)
Day 7: Flight to Peten & Yaxha Sunset Tour (1 night – Bahia Taitza or similar)
Day 8: Tikal Tour & Uaxactun Tour w/Sunset Drinks & Dinner (1 night – Jaguar Inn*)
Day 9: Transfer to Cayo District & Visit Xunantunich & Hotels (2 nights – Black Rock Lodge*)
Day 10: Caracol & Rio Frio Cave
Day 11: Placencia Hotel Visits & Transfer to Punta Gorda (2 nights – Cotton Tree Lodge*)
Day 12: Toledo Cacao & Community Tour
Day 13: Fly to Ambergris Caye & Hotel Visits (3 nights – Mata Rocks*)
Day 14: Hol Chan & Shark Ray Alley Snorkel Trip
Day 15: Free Day at the Beach
Day 16: Flight to Belize International Airport
*Hotels are subject to change until itinerary confirmation.
They can also arrange a pretrip to Honduras or El Salvador if there is interest.
Viaventure FAM trips are designed to teach clients about the destinations they manage through enjoyable experiences that are both informative and inspiring. This trip in particular is designed to demonstrate their classic midrange offerings and will be accompanied by a administrative cost ($500 for GT & BZ or $350 for just GT or BZ**). Viaventure also emphasizes that this is a work trip and although, enjoyable it is not a holiday and this is reflected in the schedule. The trip cost may be subject to change. Clients will have to take care of their interntional flights but all internal flights are included in the cost of the FAM.
