The National Hotel and Tourism Association of the Dominican Republic, Inc. (ASONAHORES), announced the 13th edition of the Dominican Annual Tourism Exchange (DATE), sponsored by the Dominican Ministry of Tourism. The Moon Palace Hotel’s Convention Center at Punta Cana will host the event from April 23-25, 2013.

Every year, DATE welcomes more than one hundred tour operators from the main tourism markets where the presence of the United States, Canada, Germany and South American countries like Argentina and Brazil is emphasized.

For three days, tour operators take part in an effective business exchange with the main purveyors for the Dominican touristic product like hotels, travel agencies and rent cars. Appointments are prearranged among registered participants with the use of a system managed by ASONAHORES.
