Barbadian Christopher Eastmond has been appointed the new General Manager of O2 Beach Club & Spa, a newly unveiled five-star, luxury all-inclusive resort on the south coast of Barbados. Eastmond brings to the family-owned Ocean Hotels Group more than 25 years of experience and a proven success record in the boutique resort and luxury private residences niche in the Caribbean.

Focused on the implementation of operational plans to achieve financial integrity and sustainable profitability, paired with a strong, positive work culture, he most recently served as the General Manager at Belle Mont Farm Resort at Kittitian Hill in St. Kitts.Previously, he held the role of General Manager at Curtain Bluff (Antigua), and Grace Bay Resorts (Turks and Caicos), and was a member of the Sandy Lane (Barbados), Carlisle Bay (Antigua), and Cobblers Cove (Barbados) pre-opening teams.

Eastmond also has extensive experience working in hotel operations in the U.K., with both Hilton and Marriott.

O2 Beach Club & Spa opened in November 2021 and features spacious rooms and suites, five restaurants and six bars.
