Fond Doux Resort & Plantation and Bay Garden Beach Resort, two locally-owned and managed businesses have made an arrangement whereas for a 6-night package stay, guests will be able to enjoy a 3-day stay in each resort. During their stay at the BGBR guests will stay in a beach-front room, breakfast for two, a welcome gift starter pack, access to non-motorized water sports and a tour to Pigeon Island which includes the water taxi fare, entrance to the park and a picnic. At Fond Doux Resort & Plantation the package consists of 3 nights in their Honeymoon Suite, breakfast for two, a complete tour of the plantation, and a welcome gift starter pack. Both include airport transport and transportation, by either land or water taxi, between the two resorts.
Fond Doux Resort & Plantation is comprised of 12 renovated and furnished luxury cottages reminiscent of the 19th century French colonial epoch. In 2013, the owners – Eroline and her husband Lyton Lamontagne, invested $2 million to augment the plantation’s environmental production endeavors. This working plantation grows its own fruits, vegetables and cacao according to eco-friendly standards, exclusively.
