The Five Star Diamond address located in Taksim in the heart of the city has named Gokhan Aykan as General Manager and Feyza Yucefer as Deputy General Manager of Marketing & Sales. Both arrive with impressive luxury hotel experience as Marti Istanbul Hotel anticipates an intensive and dynamic year ahead.
As General Manager, Gokhan Aykan has ultimate responsibility for all operations of Marti Istanbul Hotel, including food and beverage, sales and marketing, and assuring a quality guest experience. A graduate of Institute Hotelier “Cesar Ritz” in Le Bouveret, Switzerland, and Cornell University School of Hotel Administration in Ithaca, New York, Aykan earned experience at Fairmont, Swissotel and other entities of InterContinental Hotel Group. Prior to joining Marti Istanbul Hotel, Aykan served as General Manager at Divan Ankara in Turkey and Divan Erbil in Iraq. Acknowledging that hospitality is as challenging as it is rewarding, Aykan believes that passion and commitment to quality service are the keys to success in the luxury hotel industry.
As Deputy General Manager of Marketing and Sales, Feyza Yucefer oversees all sales and marketing efforts for Marti Istanbul Hotel, with emphasis on fashioning innovative strategies to increase business from all-important meeting and events clientele. Yucefer launched her career at Ç?ra?an Palace Hotel Kempinski following graduation from Schiller International University in Switzerland. Previously, she undertook many successful assignments at Kempinski, Swissotel, Renaissance, InterContinental Hotels Group and Leading Hotels of the World addresses in Turkey, US, the Maldives and Croatia.
