Loews Hollywood Hotel has appointmented Brian D. Johnson as its General Manager. In his new role, Johnson oversees day-to-day operations of the Loews Hollywood Hotel, which is currently undergoing a $31 million renovation, set to complete in March 2014. The redesign involves a total overhaul of the hotel’s 632 rooms and 115 suites, in addition to the lobby, 120,000 square feet of meeting space and restaurant, Preston’s.
Johnson joined Loews Hotels & Resorts in 2002 and has worked in various roles throughout his 12 year tenure with the company. He served as Director of Guest Services at Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando, Director of Rooms for Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, General Manager of Loews Lake Las Vegas and most recently, was General Manager at AAA Four Diamond property, Loews Coronado Bay Resort.
Johnson has over 25 years of hotel experience, previously working for Hyatt Hotels and Resorts as an Executive Assistant Manager in Chicago, Denver, San Diego and Minneapolis.
