Corinthia Hotel London has been voted by the readers of Travel + Leisure magazine as one of the ‘Top 100 Best Hotels in the World’ in the prestigious annual 2013 World’s Best Awards. Readers of the magazine also voted Corinthia Hotel London as one of the “Top Large City Hotels in Europe.”
The five-star Corinthia Hotel London has created quite a buzz in the two years since its opening, attracting fashionable trendsetters as well as business travelers. The flagship of the luxury Corinthia Hotels brand, the London property provides unrivalled world-class luxury and personalized service. The superb ground floor offerings include The Northall, serving the best in British produce throughout the day; Mediterranean seafood at Massimo Restaurant & Oyster Bar; the musically inspired Bassoon Bar; and the Lobby Lounge, known for its traditional Afternoon Tea served under Corinthia London’s striking “Full Moon” Baccarat chandelier. Corinthia London is also home to the flagship ESPA Life at Corinthia, a next-generation spa housed across four floors.
Matthew Dixon, Corinthia London, General Manager, noted that in addition to the service and luxurious facilities, many of the guests are attracted to Corinthia London for its great location. “Ideally positioned on the River Thames and in the heart of cultural London, the hotel is just minutes from Trafalgar Square and moments from Covent Garden, the Southbank, and Westminster Abbey, making it the perfect home for our guests,” said Dixon. He added “American guests, arriving on early morning flights, are especially pleased with the Corinthia London’s unique pre-bookable 24 hour check-in and out policy as well as the complimentary WiFi on a high speed 1Gb broadband connection.”
Corinthia London, also popular because it has the largest standard hotel room size (538 sq.ft.) in London, dramatically transformed the luxury hotel accommodation scene in the city last year when it unveiled its spectacular “Seven Penthouses of Corinthia London.” The ultimate in luxury, each uniquely-themed penthouse is spread over two floors, with private lifts and terraces. The Royal Penthouse, the largest at 5000 sq. ft., has a terrace with an uninterrupted 180-degree panoramic view across London and the Thames.
The Travel + Leisure 2013 World’s Best Awards appear in the August 2013 issue of the magazine.
