Intrav Returns to the Luxury Travel Marketplace Offering First Around-the-World Private Jet Trip in April 2014



Intrav, founded by industry veteran and chairman, Barney Ebsworth has announced it’s return to the travel industry with an inaugural around-the-world itinerary, including stops in Easter Island and Marrakech, from April 7 to May 1, 2014. Travel will be via Boeing 757-200ER, custom-configured exclusively for Intrav. The aircraft will offer 180-degree first-class, flat-bed seats with six-and-a-half feet of personal space (79″ pitch), in-seat massage systems, 4-way adjustable headrests, privacy screens and personal lounge space. All flights feature Wi-Fi connectivity and personal onboard chef.

The company also announced the appointment of Linda Wischmeyer to president. Wischmeyer comes to Intrav with extensive knowledge with the most recognized travel brands, including Travcoa, National Geographic Expeditions, Abercrombie & Kent and TCS & Starquest Expeditions. “Intrav has been thoughtfully created to cater to the discerning generation of dreamers seeking transcendent life experiences that combine the best in luxury and leisure,” said Wischmeyer. “We offer warm, intuitive services aboard the most luxurious private jet and set the stage for journeys that not only forge lasting memories – they transform lives.”

Two of the 12 itineraries scheduled for 2014 and 2015 include “Timeless Destinations: A Journey Around the World” and “Cultural Tapestries: A Journey Around the World,” for the savvy private jet traveler seeking a luxury travel experience like no other on May 3, 2014 to May 27, 2014.
