Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek has announced the appointment of Katharine Anderson as marketing manager. Anderson leads the resort’s marketing efforts bringing a wealth of experience to the core sales and development team.
Having been a part of the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek’s marketing team prior to its opening in Sept. 2011, Anderson possesses a key understanding of the resort and its hospitality positioning. Her new role will involve handling a larger scope of marketing, advertising and branding related activities for the family-friendly, Mediterranean-inspired property which also has a large focus on the meetings market in Orlando.
While leading and developing marketing strategies on a local and national level, Anderson will assist in building and maintaining key business relationships and partnerships and oversee all public relations plans and implementations. She will also handle the design and management of the property’s social media components.
“We have been extremely fortunate to have Katharine as part of our marketing team since the resort’s opening,” stated John Branciforte, director of sales and marketing. “Her dedication and leadership has been integral to our successful positioning and I am confident she will continue to help lead the resort in a fruitful direction.”
Prior to joining the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek team, Anderson was sales and marketing coordinator for the Naples Grande Beach Resort in Naples, Fla., and brand management contractor for Chico’s FAS Inc., in Fort Myers, Florida.
