On this kayaking trip, guests cover 50 miles, of some of the most dazzlingly beautiful fjords in the world, while discovering the breathtaking landscapes and Viking culture that makes Norway such a fascinating destination.
This Norway kayaking journey begins at the charming art nouveau town of Ålesund at the entrance of Storfjord. Paddlers journey through the peaks of Sunnmøre Alps on the waters of Norddalsfjord, Tafjord, Sunnylvsfjord and finish the majestic waterway of Geirangerfjord. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Geirangerfjord is the most photographed fjord in Norway. Aside from world-class paddling, guests experience side-hikes, opportunities for fishing, exploring the shops of local artisans, savoring traditional cuisine in local villages, and much more.
Guests experience expedition-style camping through the heart of some of Norway’s most memorable waterways–an area of postcard-perfect landscapes with snow-capped mountains, high granite walls, waterfalls, mountain farms, wildflowers, and charming villages.
