Now celebrating 23 years, Blue Marlin Lodge is a rustic and charming dedicated diving, fishing and relaxation resort offering life’s simple pleasures while tucked away in a little corner of the Barrier Reef in Belize. The lodge offers guests a choice of accommodations from private little chalet overlooking the Barrier Reef to island guestroom. The Lodge has enhanced its igloo units into underwater world, Mayan world and Belize’s only Jaguar World.
The grounds occupy a sizable portion, from beachfront to lagoon, of a small, striated coconut and pine-covered islet—Southwater Caye. This is a perfect location for divers, fishermen, snorklers or island seekers. The island is directly on the barrier reef line. One can literally walk off Southwater Caye and swim to the crest of the barrier reef—and many divers do, sea conditions permitting.
Blue Marlin Lodge offers the beauty of its private island for the enjoyment of its guests. The area boasts phenomenal fishing and diving, and the property is perfect for casual relaxation. Dining on lobster, fresh fish, conch, and other exotic seafood is standard fare on Southwater Caye. Drinking fresh juice and fruity tropical cocktails is the preferred way to cool down in the Caribbean shade. Along with a number of recreational activities like volleyball and billiards, the owners offer exciting day trips to other popular Belizean attractions. The Blue Marlin Lodge is owned and operated by a Belizean family since October 1987. Blue Marlin Lodge, 800-798-1558, email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org, www.bluemarlinlodge.com
