John Ische, chairman of VAX VacationAccess, named Kathy Fitzpatrick president of VAX VacationAccess Worldwide.

Fitzpatrick will lead the continued growth of the successful travel agent leisure vacation platform, VAX VacationAccess, by expanding efforts to bring more suppliers to the platform and delivering new products and tools to help travel agents effectively sell leisure travel.

“We are excited to add someone with Kathy’s background, experience and leadership skills to VAX VacationAccess. With her exceptional background and experience in the travel industry, she will be instrumental in making VAX VacationAccess the industry’s largest leisure travel marketplace,” said Ische.

Fitzpatrick has more than 20 years of experience in the GDS industry working at Travelport, Worldspan, and Galileo.  Prior to joining VAX VacationAccess, Fitzpatrick served as Travelport’s senior vice president and managing director of Americas Travelport.
