Corporate Travel Specialists (CTS), a newly formed division of Up and Away Travel, has introduced a unique program tailored specifically for India-bound business travelers. The “Affordable India” program offers savings on Business and First Class flights, accommodations at top tier hotels, and private airport transfers.
 
The standard package starting at $3,500 includes roundtrip Executive Class flights via Air India from Newark or Chicago to Delhi or Mumbai; three nights at outstanding Hilton or Marriott Hotels; buffet breakfast daily; and round trip airport transfers by private, chauffeur-driven car. Affordable India packages are also available with non-stop flights from New York, flights from other U.S. gateways and on other carriers, and with accommodations at other outstanding hotels. Departure taxes, airport security fees (including the Sept.11 Security Fee), and fuel surcharges (if applicable) are not included in the package prices.
 
Travelers booking the standard package will fly to India aboard one of Air India’s new Boeing 777 aircraft. Those flying Executive Class will enjoy the comfort of flat beds, a spacious 76” seat pitch, a privacy partition, and 15.4” LCD screen. Flat bed compartments with a built-in massage system, buddy seat, a large 23” LCD screen, and generous 80” seat pitch, are among the features of the 777’s First Class cabin.
 
The hotels available in the standard package include the Hilton New Delhi and Hilton Garden Inn in Delhi; accommodations in Mumbai are at the JW Marriot Hotel or the Renaissance Hotel & Convention Center. All of the properties are conveniently located, and feature state-of-the art business centers and meeting facilities.
 
According to CTS’ vice president, Ed Macedo, a travel industry veteran with over 30 years of experience, “Business travel to India continues to grow. However, companies often find it difficult to economize on travel expenses without sacrificing the comfort and convenience that is needed for a successful business trip – especially to a long haul destination such as India. The Affordable India program is a perfect way for them to achieve both objectives.” Macedo noted that travel agents will earn a substantial commission on every Affordable India package they book.
